Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes, but when you look back, everything is different.
We get into this routine of “life” and we forget to create the adventures and memories, that in our head, will last as memories forever.
Even if we “live” our lives in routine, we as humans change constantly. When we were seven we hated broccoli, and all of a sudden we are fourteen and are starting to like it. Our likes, tastes and opinions change all the time, with or without us noticing.
The most difficult part of change is to consciously decide to make one, knowing the risks and the “might-be” consequences. The not knowing what’s going to happen is the scariest thing.
“But an amazing thing happens when you get honest with yourself and start doing what you love, what makes you happy. Your life literally slows down. You stop wishing for the weekend. You stop merely looking forward to special events. You begin to live in each moment and you start feeling like a human being. You just ride the wave that is life, with this feeling of contentment and joy. You move fluidly, steadily, calm and grateful. A veil is lifted, and a whole new perspective is born.”
And suddenly you know… It’s time to start something new and trust the magic of beginnings.
